Worked EO Leadership example (250 words)

*In my current EO casework role I noticed that our two newest AAs were finishing the day with significant unprocessed work compared to the more experienced team members. I asked our line manager if I could spend an hour a week with them in a structured review session. Over four weeks, I walked each AA through the three case types they were slowest on, identified that both were spending too long cross-checking information that was already verified earlier in the process, and showed them the trust's streamlined approach. I then paired them on a shared buddy system so they could escalate queries to each other before coming to me. By week six both AAs were clearing their daily target consistently. My line manager asked me to lead the induction for the next AA joiner and extended the buddy system across the team. This evidences EO-scope leadership: taking initiative within my team, directly supporting colleagues, and contributing a change that improved team performance. I did not have formal line management responsibility but I took ownership of a team problem and delivered a team-level outcome.*
