*GCSE exam outcomes (essential).* In my current Year 11 set (mid-set, AQA GCSE Maths 2024), I inherited a class with a baseline of 32% on target grade from December mock assessments. I redesigned the weekly teaching cycle to include targeted exam-style starter questions mapped to the class's weakest topics, a fortnightly cumulative mini-mock, and a Saturday revision session for weeks 10–18 of the GCSE cycle. In the final summer mocks 68% were on or above target grade. In summer exam results, 74% achieved grade 4+ (above the department target of 65%). I have since shared the cumulative mini-mock approach across the department as our standard Y11 strategy.
